Can you have multiple NFC cards pointing to the same profile?
Yes. Multiple NFC chips can be encoded with the same URL, all pointing to the same profile. This is useful for having backup cards, distributing cards to team members who share a contact profile, or placing NFC stickers in multiple locations that all link to the same page.
Use cases for multiple cards, one profile
Backup cards: order 2–3 cards with the same profile so you always have one available even if you forget one or give it away. Shared professional contact: two co-founders might both carry cards pointing to a shared company contact page. Physical placement: one card in your wallet, one NFC sticker on your laptop or desk — all pointing to the same profile.
Analytics consideration
If multiple cards point to the same profile URL, you can't tell in analytics which physical card generated a specific tap — you just see profile visits. If tracking which card or location generates more engagement matters, use different profile URLs for each placement.
Can I give team members cards that all point to my profile?
Yes — but it may be confusing for recipients if they get someone else's card that opens your profile. Usually better to give each person their own profile.
If I have two cards with the same profile, can I update both at once?
Yes — since both point to the same URL, any profile update applies to both instantly.
Do I pay for two profiles if I have two cards pointing to the same one?
No — the profile is one. You'd only pay extra for the second physical card.
