Can NFC cards store and share files?
The NFC chip itself cannot store files — it only stores a URL (a few hundred bytes). But the profile page at that URL can link to any file: PDFs, resumes, portfolios, spec sheets, or anything else you can host online.
How file sharing works through an NFC card
Add a link on your profile page that points to the file's URL. When someone taps your card and visits your profile, they can click the link to download or view the file. The file itself is hosted wherever you normally store it — Google Drive, Dropbox, your own server, or any file hosting service. Tap the card → profile loads → they click the file link → file downloads.
What kinds of files people share this way
Photographers share portfolios hosted on their website or cloud storage. Real estate agents link to property brochures. Sales reps link to product spec sheets. Contractors link to their license and insurance documents. Resume PDFs are common for job seekers. The NFC card becomes a portable link to any document you want to hand over.
Can I share a resume via NFC card?
Yes. Host your resume PDF on Google Drive, Dropbox, or your personal website, then add the link to your NFC card profile. Whoever taps your card can click to view or download it.
Is there a file size limit?
Not on the NFC side — you're just sharing a link. The limit is on whatever service hosts the file.
Can I share a Figma file or Google Doc through an NFC card?
Yes — any file with a shareable URL (Figma, Google Docs, Notion, etc.) can be linked from your NFC card profile.
